Never written a review before but felt compelled to having visited here. Well worth visiting.
Stopped in en route to Crinan with our - two daughters aged 2 and 8. Warm and friendly welcome... My wife and I had the BLT and we both agreed that it was probably the best BLT sandwich we’d ever had. The girls had macaroni and fish fingers, with nothing leftover. Generous portions, quality food, excellent service all set in a warm and welcoming environment.
Never written a review before but felt compelled to having visited here. Well worth visiting.

“I went for the haggis burger and it was fantastic”
We've been a few times when in the area and yet again it didn't disappoint. I found the staff to be very attentive and friendly. Then there's the food Mmmm absolutely delicious. I went for the haggis burger and it was fantastic. I would recommend The Village Rest.

“Burger was superb and well priced”
Visited here for lunch and ordered a cheeseburger. Burger was superb and well priced. Wife’s chicken burger was also very good. Would definitely recommend it.

“Great cajun chips”
Nice wee stop from Fife. Came up for a drive and stopped for a wee bite to eat. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great cajun chips. We will be back at some point in the future.

“we were so glad we did”
We were staying at ------- in Luss but the menu wasn’t our cup of tea, so we decided to walk 300 yards down the road...to “The Village Rest” and we were so glad we did. We had chorizo bruschetta for starters couldn’t fault it, it was perfect, I had a Lamb Giggot (cutlet from a leg of Lamb) with creamed mash roasted vegetables and minted gravy, (very tasty). My partner had sirloin steak medium that also was perfect. Lots of deserts to choose from too.

“we just had to go back!”
We visited twice in a week as our first meal was so impressive, we just had to go back! Highly recommend the Macaroni Cheese with bacon and the Steak and Ale pie. Good homecooked food and very reasonably priced. We had a little booth table and the staff were lovely and friendly.

“Tank the bulldog and Gunner loved it! 🐶🐶”
The Village Rest is an asset to the village of Luss, my mum, husband and I happened to be walking past Tuesday afternoon, when the lovely Linda came out to say hi to our bulldog Tank, we got chatting and decided that evening to try out TVR, we where all made very welcome, nice table for us and the dogs, service was great, lovely and friendly, Tank lapped up the attention as always, food was great, the vegetarian/vegan options good I had the moving mountains burger, definitely recommend. We went back again this afternoon for lunch, it was very busy but we squeezed in, the lovely Linda was very attentive to our needs. Overall experience brilliant, I would definitely recommend you stop here for a bite to eat. Oh and they love dogs! Thank you. Sloppy kisses from Tank the bulldog and Gunner the nutcase. And me Tab x

“Best dog-friendly restaurant ive ever been in.”
What a fantastic restaurant, firstly the staff are a 10/10 friendly and efficient, the food was delicious. We had the fish and chips, mac & cheese with bacon and a cajun chicken wrap. All 3 were amazing and large portions...really good value as well. We had our dog with us and she was spoilt rotten. All the members of staff gave her treats and water. Best dog-friendly restaurant ive ever been in. If your in the area i highly reccomend you try this place - you wont regret it!
